Is it wise to declare a minor is I am transferring?

<p>I am considering declaring a minor, but I am 90% sure I am going to transfer after this year. Would that be a stupid thing to do?</p>

<p>No, but it would cost me money if I transfer and my credits don’t transfer even though I still plan on keeping my minor.</p>

<p>It depends on how much you want that minor in the event you don’t transfer, then, as I’m assuming you’ll need to start completing the requirements now. A minor doesn’t do much for you in terms of getting into grad school/getting employed, from what I’ve heard, but you’ll have to make the call as to whether or not it’s worth it to you.</p>
