<p>Did you want to try re-taking the SAT? Not sure whether transfers have to have the new SAT with writing, but all new applicants for the class of 2010 do. UCLA is very tough to get into as an out-of-state student, as they reserve most of their space for CA residents. UC Merced is much easier to get in, as they have recently opened and are not full at this time. It's something you may wish to consider. Another thing you may wish to consider is moving to CA & working for a year, enrolling in their community college after the year & then trying to get in as a transfer at UCLA.
