Is it worth applying to GA Tech so late?

Strong essays and recommendations
First gen. college student</p>

<p>I feel as if I'll get waitlisted or denied just because I'll be applying so late. I was going through last year's discussion thread and saw many applicants with similar or higher stats than me getting waitlisted, although I did see some with lower that got accepted. </p>

<p>It’s not that late GTech has a deadline of Jan 10 and the one’s you saw get rejected with higher stats were probably internationals, GTech has a very small “quota” for internationals. The writing questions for GTech are small. So go ahead apply if you have the time and money lying around.</p>

<p>Better late than never! You will never know unless you try! You never know what will happen, even if you get waitlisted you still have a chance to get in! With those credentials, I would absolutely apply immediately!</p>
