<p>I got accepted into the UCI Summer Premed program for high schoolers. The program outline is very vague and I am not sure if it is worth it. What exactly do you do during it and does it seem presitigious, selective, conducive to pre-med studies in the future or useful to colleges? Is it helpful for possible future pre-med students?</p>

<p>I am also doing biomedical research for a month during the summer. Considering that should I still do this program? (Although don't base your answer solely on this information, perhaps a multi-faceted answer would be best.</p>
