Is it worth it for my friend to apply to Cornell ED? Chancing back.

APs: AP Chemistry, AP Calculus AB (4), AP United States History, AP Language and Composition (5)
Senior Year Rigor: AP French, AP Stat, AP Literature, AP Bio, AP Macro
UW GPA: 3.85
Hooks: State ranked soccer player, first in the family to go to college
E.C.’s: Science Olympiad (9th, 11th), FEAT (11th), Envirothon (11th), French Cafe (11th), French Club (11th), Soccer (9th, 10th, 12th),
Work History:Soccer Refereeing
Intended major: Pre-med or something along those lines.
Essays: Great! She's a great essay writer and she's seen essays from underdogs accepted at UPenn.</p>

<p>I honestly believe that she has spectacular hooks that would set her up well for Cornell. It’s still a reach, but I would say that she would at least get in after the wait list. Best of luck to her!</p>

<p>Decent chance for ED considering Cornell has an ED rate of around 30%.</p>
