Is it worth it to retake the ACT if you're already accepted

so you can get better scholarships? I just took the December one for the first time with just about no prep and got

Comp: 30
English: 34
Math: 26
Reading: 32
Science: 28

The college I'm going to is really easy to get into, but I really need scholarships since my dad isn't going to help with paying for it. Would it be worth it to retake it in February (registration isn't closed yet, right?) with some prep and try to improve my score for better scholarships?

If you want to spend the time and money and you know that they offer substantial scholarships at that school based partly or fully on test scores then yes. I sent my ACTs to my backup school after I already got in (I didn't take them after but I didn't get the scores until after) just for that purpose.

most colleges want their scholarship apps by dec 1...if the deadline hasnt passed then go for it

Nah I wouldn't. Unless it's for scholarships or something.

daniellamarie, I believe that's what cld_1002 is trying to say =P

definitely go for it...40 bucks is nothing if it gives you a chance at something a lot more

good luck
