Is it worth it to study complex vocab for the SAT?

My critical reading score is already in the 700s and my scores in the other two sections are around the same. I feel like it isn't worth it to study more words since there's no way to know which ones are going to actually on the test. What do you guys think?

I’d agree, but what I do is read a 500 word list the day before and try to memorize most, worked well for PSAT (aced vocab) and I think it worked for the sat. I’m good (I think) at memorizing vocab words however.

I think there is still room for improvement. Keep working if you have the time and are interested in the most selective schools.

Read Catch 22 and keep a dictionary beside you

I think it’s worth looking at the Direct Hits list, but nothing beyond that. When you do practice tests, do you mess up on vocab or on passages?

@An0maly On the last SAT I took, I missed 3 passage questions and missed 3 sentence completions and omitted 1
