Is it worth it to Superscore - Answer may not be obvious

One of my colleges superscores the ACT; however, I don't no whether I should send a second test score.

1st Score:
Composite 31
E: 35
M: 33
R: 30
S: 27
W: 10

2nd Score:
Composite: 30
E: 30
M: 32
R: 25
S: 34
W: 12

If I superscore, I will have a 33 with a 12 on the writing, but I am afraid colleges will take into account of my significant drop in English and Reading even though my Science and Writing boosted up. Should I send in the 2nd test and superscore?

Yes, they will assume two different people took the test and throw your app into the inferno they have in the Adcom office.

definitely; if colleges are superscoring, they’ll only consider your highest scores. since you improved in two areas, they’ll only consider that. a test is only a measure of how well you’re performing on one day, so instead of seeing that english and reading went down, they’ll see that you can do better than your second scores and that they aren’t true representations of your ability.

lol @ the inferno

Thanks for the responses. I guess I’ll send in the second score.
