I got a 2050 the first (and only) time I took it (620 in math, 700 in CR, 730 in writing). . .
I guess that the most competitive schools I'm considering are Tufts and Georgetown.
I should take it again, right? Would I have an okay chance if I didn't take it again but had really intense essays and other great aspects of my application?

Do you have any tips on how to improve my scores? (Anything that really has worked for you. . .etc. . . ?)

Thank you!!

You have nothing to lose by retaking the SAT and so much to gain. If you’re a white applicant without a hook, it’s not looking great.
Tufts middle 50%:
CR: 680-750
M: 680-750
W: 680-760
to be competative as an unhooked student, you’ll need to be around or above the top 25%. however, as always, there is no magic cutoff number, so that doesn’t mean it’s impossible. Just unlikely. You should study up and practice, especially in math, since you are well below the 25% mark.
So retaking it is essentially a MUST.
There are plenty of guides and tips out there. just learn the concepts of the math subjects tested on the SAT and find a system that works best for you. Good luck in whatever you decide to do.

Aw man. . haha. Thank you for your advice. . .
I guess I’ll do some practice tests. . .
Here’s to hoping that tons of practice will help … . .

^He’s talking about the Filipino work ethic! (I hope…)
