Is it worth it?

Just got a letter today telling me that I am going to be getting a "Modern Minds App" in August. I am not sure what this is exactly, so I am not sure what it will do. I do plan on applying EA to GMU. I have visited it and loved it as soon as I got there. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone could key me in as to what this application is exactly?

Also, I am wondering what my chances of acceptance is (or of receiving a scholarship); here are my credentials:

GPA: 3.75
Courses are all Honors and Advanced Placement since Freshman year
Jobs as a cashier and as a USA Hockey official
Sports: Varsity Soccer, Track and Field, Cross Counrty, Junior Varsity Baseball
National Honor Society Member
1 Year Class President
Mock Trial
Around 100 Community Service Hours

I am a New York State resident by the way
Thank you

Also, after taking the SAT for the first time in March, I scored a 1750.

My three sections go 580, 550, 620

I’m aiming at bringing my score up to around a 1900 three part and I also plan on taking the ACT in a few short weeks

I think we’re the same person? haha I’ve gotten the same email and have no idea what it’s about. I think I’ll send in both the Modern Minds app and the regular app, though (just to be on the safe side). But seriously, I have the exact same SAT scores and basically all the same credentials. So here’s to hoping you get in because then I’ll probably get in!

I hope! I’m really hoping that this is something that helps tremendously when applying there because I could use all the help I could get. Plus it would raise my interest level more (even though in my head GMU has been my #1 go to school since I visited it)

It’s hard being an out of state student in this situation haha
