Is it worth it?!?

I am pondering whether I should apply EA to Yale. I have always admired the school and felt that it would suit my needs and preferences...but I was reluctant to apply or put too much interest in the school because I was unconfident about my possibility of acceptance. I think, however, that it would be worse to not apply than to be rejected...

I would appreciate ANY comments, as my guidance counselor has yet to meet with me and evaluate my chances. THANK YOU in advance...

**Entered HS w/ credits based on accelerated middle school program. This would, under normal circumstances, be beneficial—however—due to the strict scheduling and general small size of my school, I was occasionally forced to take non-honors courses, though they were with the grade subsequent to my own. I have taken/registered for all A.P classes offered by school (other than Spanish, due to Latin track) and highest level of language.
