Is it worth taking the PSAT if I have a low GPA?

My GPA is 3.1UW/3.4W. I signed up for the PSAT anyway though. I've just heard that in order to qualify for scholarships, you have to have a good PSAT score (200+) AND a good academic record.

Is this true?

What grade are you in? Your previous posts said you are senior or even CS freshmen in college. You even posted a thread with PSAT score already. Are you asking this question retroactively? It seems you love to create an imaginary situation for a new thread every now and then.

Hey Bill,

This account is used by multiple people. Sorry about any problems I’ve created. I’m a junior whereas my brother is a senior.

Anyone please answer the question if you can.

So you are sharing this account with people from different states? At least one is Illinois resident moving to California, and two (or 3) in Ann Arbor that are in HS junior, senior, and college freshman. This is really confusing and there is no reason for sharing an account when it is free.
It is still worth it as you can get a test center experience at a low cost and no negative consequence. As long as you don’t have C and you get a good score, you may still be eligible for NMF.
