Is it worth the debt?

Let everyone know that you have a car, and you'll make lots of friends!

I plan on double majoring. I'm not sure what else to major in, but I want to major in something that will get me some skills. xD Then I can study what I like and what I "need" for life. ^_^ I really feel Boston U would be awesome, but the thought of debt makes me feel guilty and gives me a sick feeling. I don't want to be in debt, but I don't want to live in my parents' house for four more years. =/ It'd make me feel kind of like a loser since I have so many cousins that just never moved out from their parents' house even though they're past college years already... I applied to some scholarships, but I won't know if I got them until much later. =/

I don't see why living at home freshman year means you will be living at home for all of the undergraduate years. As you make friends in class freshman year, perhaps you will meet a couple of other students with whom you can share an inexpensive apartment sophomore year.

A second major--make sure it is one that interests you--sounds like a good idea to me.

Well, because I'd be wasting more money that way. I want to save up as much as possible for grad school so that I can be in less debt and my parents won't charge me rent. Besides, the only apartments in the area are full. My aunt is looking for one and she found nothing. There are some across the street from the university, but those are part of dorm housing for upperclassmen. Besides, I'll see my family every day at the university, so it'd be the same as living with them.
