Is it worth transferring?

Hi all,

I am currently a student at UCSC admitted as a transfer to UCSD, UCD, and UCSB. My major is business management economics (emphasis in accounting). My goal is to become a CPA and work for one of the big four firms post graduation. I was wondering if it is worth transferring to another UC JUST for more job opportunities. I know UCSB is well known for their accounting recruitment with big firms for example. However, I am well-established here at UCSC. I have a high GPA, and I am sure I will maintain that until I graduate. I am also well connected with Bob, the accounting professor here who is a heavy hitter when it comes to landing jobs with Deloitte and KPMG. I also love the campus, and the people.

In short: I was wondering if it is really worth leaving everything I have behind for the possibility of better job offerings at another institution where I would have to start over.

Also: Regardless of what I decide to do, I will still be on time to graduate on time. Also ranking of the college is completely meaningless to me since it doesn't matter unless the schools are UCB or UCLA (in my opinion, and from what I've read).

Thanks for your time!

Doesn’t this statement really say all you need to know!!!
