Is it worthwhile to skip AP Calculus AB to BC by taking a summer course?

Next year going to be a junior, and I"m on the fence on picking AB and BC (If I take a course over the summer).

I want to fit in AP Stats, am it'll probably be difficult to double up on math next year because of budget cuts. So maybe doing BC next year will allow me to do stats. But if I COULD double up next year ( Calc AB+Stats) is it worthwhile?

Thanks CC

I don’t know how other schools do calculus, but my school has both AB and BC as options for seniors, with BC encompassing all of the AB topics. So far, the only topics covered in BC that aren’t included in AB are complex integrals, improper integrals, parametric equations and polar equations, and series and sequences. BC really isn’t so bad, I’d suggest knocking it out.

Thank you for your input, but in relation to my situation would it be better to AP Calc AB+BC+Stats (and try to double upon on math for a year) or AP Calc BC + Stats junior and senior year respectively.
