is it worthy..for an international student to pay super much money for US undergrad?
for internationa students, the amount of money paid for undergrad each year is really a lot, especially compared to some other o****ries.
obvoiusly, american is known for one of the best education place, thz for sure. but im just wondering, if this is all worth it? esp for ppl (like me) who aren't as rich?</p>
<p>i see som schools in japan, holland...etc also hv some pretty good schools tht are taught in english, and much cheaper. is it better to choose thse countries rather than america then? cz after all, i guess im stil goin to the graduate (seems like everyone is goin there now...esp in businessfield, rite?) soo...this is just about money issue, can someone give suggestions :(?

<p>With the cost of living in Japan and the value of the Euro, I doubt attending a university in Europe or Japan will be much cheaper (if at all) than attending a school in the US.</p>

<p>I should qualify what I mean when I say "one of the best". I do not mean a top 20 or top 25 university. I am referring to all respectable universities. That includes over 50 private research universities, over 50 public universities and over 50 LACs. Altogether, there are well over 100 colleges and universities that are totally worth attending in the US. The key is the make most of one's education.</p>

<p>depends where u go to school currently if you are in England, then I would suggest pick the British schools as they are not much different. Same applies to Canada.
If you are in Latin American countries, I would say its definaely worth it as a US Degree is extremely well respected in those countries and guarantees you a great job when u go back home. Most wealthy and educated students from those areas do opt for American degrees as the colleges in their own home are seen as inferior and lacking resources.</p>
<p>A lot of it depends what your home country is, and the kind of universities it has. But overall, I would say, if money is a big issue for your family, then I would suggest do your undergraduate outside of the US go for a graduate degree at an American school. It is easier to finance graudate-level education due to teaching/grant/research possibilities.</p>
