<p>Depends. I wouldn’t outright lie, but if you’re writing a story and have to change some minor detail to better display what you’re trying to get across, I’d say it’s fine. In my essay I had to write about an event that happened two years ago so I’m sure I got some facts wrong.</p>
<p>Stretching the truth is ok. Dont lie.</p>
<p>if you stretch it too much be careful who proofs it for you.</p>
<p>I read a friend’s and some of the things he stretched were pretty annoying…</p>
