...if a female is not in a relationship and wants to have sex with a variety of different guys? And why is it wrong or why not? I've been thinking lately that there's nothing inherently wrong with being "slutty" or whatever, because it's healthy to explore one's own sexuality and desires. By the way, I'm not looking for answers based on a religious standpoint because I'm not a person of faith.

STDs… I think that is enough to not be “slutty”

I think women shouldn’t be vilified for having libidos.

it is not healthy, it is wrong

its wrong alright, whether you’re religious or not- its wrong.

Whether or not it’s wrong is irrelevant. The point is that you will be looked down on by society for doing it, and you’re not going to change society’s beliefs about it.

Well, if you want to be like that then that’s your issue. Your the one who has to live with yourself, so if you think it’s okay that’s all that matters.

You may just be perceived as a really big slut though, and you probably won’t have a good reputation. Guys will probably only want to talk to you because they know that they can “get some”.

One word: slut.

Oh, it’s perfectly fine. STDs are totally underrated.

This coming from an asexual: It’s not wrong; you’re just sex-positive. Just make sure to have safe sex. :)

As long as it’s safe, I don’t see the problem. It’s when one is unprotected and therefore may have unwanted children or STDs that it becomes a problem. The biggest issue is that it’s OK for men but not OK for women, which is complete BS.

Uh… if someone has an STD, protection won’t always prevent it…

Right, if it’s protected I don’t see what the big deal is.

Urban Dictionary: 1. slut: a woman with the morals of a man

Get the HPV vaccine.

^ you really went to the urban dictionary to look up the formal definition of slut. Oh boy! And a slut can have different meanings depending on the person.

I see those two contrasting, wouldn’t you say?

EDIT: I was talking to Parliament

…please elaborate? I’m sorry, I’m a bit confused.

Read this very slowly so you get it into your head: Different people = Different opinions.

Gosh you’re such a lovely person.

Why thank you, kind sir.
