Is IV General Anesthesia safe without an Anesthesiologist for Wisdom Teeth?

^Now I have one more reason for never being under for dental work (I am sure I will have many more coming my way). thanks, frugal for this info, did not even think about that either.

well, i guess since the OP hasn’t updated us yet the only reasonable conclusion is that he died during the operation :(

I went with the general anesthesia, and it went fine. The hydrocodon I took afterward did put me into respiratory depression, which did not feel good, for about 17 hours beginning yesterday afternoon, but I’m fine now. I can elaborate on that if anyone would like me to. I’m basically recovered now, though my gums are still a bit tender.

sorry to hear about that OP. ironic that the general, which you were concerned about, went fine and then the pills afterwards were so rough. My gums were tender for at least a week.

I never use anything but Advil. It does not work for some because of digestive system, my system is OK with it.
Glad to hear that general went well. Going to dentist on Monday, couple problems, hopefully nothing major beyond crown and such, this is my destiny.
