<p>Right now my son is bogged down with essays and getting his applications in. No way he'll take the SATs soon. But I imagine that in about a month it will all be over and he could conceivably take the SAT one more time. December is too soon, but January is possible for him.</p>
<p>But is that too late for RD?</p>
<p>I’m kind of in the same situation. Not sure what I was doing all summer haha. Nobody told me SAT IIs were recommended, so I ended up not taking them last school year when I had a mastery for them. I had to cram em all in this year AND prepare for my SATs. I hope this works out for me and your son!</p>
<p>For some ivies, january is ok.</p>
<p>It depends on college. A lot take only through December tests but a lot also take through Janaury.</p>
