At first I was leaning toward San Jac, but because of the cost, now I'm considering Jester. Is it actually as bad as everyone says it is?

Depending on your luck, it can be rather loud. My friends floor gets pretty loud, and their is not nearly as much regulation. If your a girl, then I don't believe having community bathrooms will be nearly as bad as a guy's bathroom which can get pretty bad on the weekends. Tons of people live there, and everybody knows some people in Jester, and its more social.

If your not as concerned about peace and quiet 24/7, it really isn't that bad at all. Plus you don't really spend all that much time in your room to begin with anyways.

Yes, it is bad.

I'm guessing you're a girl by your name. So if you're considering Jester, Consider Kinsolving instead.

Or if you like that area of campus better, look at the Waller Creek dorms (Moore-Hill, Prather, and Roberts).

It's pretty bad. My roommates' and my beds were literally about 4 feet apart. The beds aren't even real beds--they're foam pads sitting on shelves that stick out of the wall. The walls are cinderblock, so it's impossible to put up anything on the walls. Living on the top floors is horrible because you have to wait for the elevator any time you want to go up or down. Did I mention the rooms are TINY?

All the dorms are pretty bad, but yes, Jester is the worst.
