<p>I'm sure pretty much anything at a school like JHU requires a good deal of reading and writing.</p>

let me clarify myself: does psych major involve a lot of reading and writing compared to other majors such as IR or English?</p>
<p>I think mucho reading is hardly a reason to not study something you enjoy. Reading a lot of material on a subject you enjoy shouldn't be a major problem either. :P</p>
<p>But if you really want to find out, do your own research (good practice if you're coming here. hehe. ;)):
Go to the course catalog on the JHU website, and look up the psychology course numbers.
Go to the JHU bookstore to look up the required readings for the classes.</p>
<p>Judge for yourself! But my best guess is that it's probably not a whole lot of reading. I assume you'd be reading more textbook material.</p>
