I would also like to mention that I am a nationally ranked and competitive athlete! The JHU coach of my sport is willing to recruit me onto their team, and I am really compassionate about my sport. I’m really looking forward to continuing it in college and competing in the NCAA. I was wondering if being a ‘recruited athlete’ offers me any benefits during admissions?
I’m also an artist and an active beauty blogger. My blog has over several thousand followers and I often get sponsorship deals from many online stores. I’ve been sponsored clothes, accessories, beauty products, food, and much more. I am an active traveler (especially due to the numerous National tournaments held 5 times in different parts of the US each year), and I visited Europe (Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, London) this spring break.

I am planning on volunteering at my local hospital this fall.

Essay: Wrote about my athletic experience and how it’s made me more confident, etc. (still in the process)
Recs: very good!! AP Biology teacher // French for Business teacher, also considering asking my coach
Female
Asian
First Generation
Financial Aid: No

It would be a reach but the fact that you have potential to be a recruited athlete puts you in a whole different game. At this point it’ll be how truly viable you are athletic-wise that will seal the deal.

I disagree with @bringit1 as I think that even without being an athletic recruit Hopkins is a match. You are right on their SAT. I suppose the GPA is a tad low. What sport are you being recruited for? Also are you going to go ED? Please chance me back if you have the time
