I just wanted to know if joining a frat was even worth it. I want to party and have the social life, but I really do wanna keep my grades high. Any takes on experience at rutgers? If anyone can help just tell me the best frat to join and what I have to do to join and when they party

I think you’re looking at it the wrong way. Joining a frat has its benefits, but you don’t need to join a frat to party and have a social life, especially at a large state University like Rutgers. Plus if you really want to go to frat parties, pay the $5 at the door, it will be cheaper then paying to join if the parties are all you’re interested in : p

thx i guess ur right lmao

lol you can’t just pay $5 to get into frats. You need a good ratio usually. 3-7 girls.

@Dry, I went to WVU which is a party school, and that’s how it was there. Ratio got you in for free, $5 got you in regardless.

LOL. this is Rutgers in New Jersey, not WVU in West Virginia… dude I GO to Rutgers. why are you trying to even make any suggestions.

Okay, so you bring chicks to the frat party and you get in. Who pays for the beer? I guess WVU is different, but it makes sense that they charge $5 a cup, because girls aren’t paying for anything. Anyway the op asked about joining a frat for parties, and that shouldn’t be the main reason someone is looking into a fraternity, unless they want to flunk out.

…which would only make him more credible

LOL, you guys are immature ■■■■■■. I’m not in a frat but I know people in frats and I’ve gone to some frat parties.

Yea, let’s stop arguing over a message board lol

But you should give the op some advice since you go to Rutgers and know the frats there.
