Is Junior Year too late to break out of my shell?

<p>How do I stand out and get into a good college for a career as a Nurse Anesthetist?
Hi, I am currently a sophomore in HS.
I have a 4.0 GPA unweighted, and the only AP class I'm taking this year is AP Human Geography.
Freshman Year I took:
PE, Biology, English 1 Honors, Spanish 1P, Algebra 1, and World History Honors.
Sophomore Year I am taking:
Geometry, English 2 Honors, AP Human Geography, PE, Ceramics 1, and Spanish 2P.
This summer, I am planning to take Algebra 2/Trig and Spanish 3P. So next year I might take AP Spanish.
I know for sure I am taking theses classes Junior year:
AP US History
AP English Comp Lit
Chemistry
Pre-Calculus (If I take ALG2/Trig this summer)</p>

<p>Extracurriculars are NOT so great.
I am in American Cancer Society but I have been getting lazy to do community service...I have a few hours. Probably all together I have 10 hours. Lame, I know...I have volunteered a lot at a Buddhist temple next to my house and I come there regularly. I was in Girls' Tennis for 2 days then I quit because I didn't like it. I am just not an athletic person.
I am SOOO stressed because other people have AMAZING ECs and mine are horrible and laughable!!!</p>

<p>I can NOT get into ASB no matter how hard I try. I can NOT stand out in the midst of the more popular, social-able people. You know when you watch movies and hear stories of people that don't stand out but grow up to become a successful person...yeah I don't think it's true ><</p>

<p>With my goal of becoming a Nurse Anesthetist, should I volunteer at a hospital? What do you suggest I do? =( I really want to get into University of San Francisco, University of California, San Francisco, hopefully UCLA......I really need help with my extracurriculars.</p>

<p>No junior year isn’t too late. Just don’t overdo it with the EC’s, then you look phony to the adcoms. Just find a few things you enjoy and stick with them and try to do big things with them.</p>
