My cousin is a huge hoop fan, and he has been thinking about attending Kansas for their reputation of basketball program. I have reminded him there are some other premier b-ball programs such as UNC, Duke and UCLA. But he just loves jayhawks!

KU is a great place to go to school. Strong academics, friendly midwestern atmosphere, beautiful campus in a quintessential college town are just some of the attributes. If the school is an academic fit, he should go for it. There isn’t a greater place to watch college hoops than Allen Fieldhouse. Hearing the Rock Chalk chant before a game will give you chills.

cool, I mean I am just trying to tell him there are other good hoop programs, afterall, KU is so well-known and I am sure the academics is great too. they are gonna be pretty good this year, aren’t they?!

Let him go to KU. If he loves it, don’t try and convince him otherwise. I love going to KU. Everybody is so friendly, and it’s easy to get involved in campus. Hearing the Rock Chalk chant chanted by thousands of students and fans is literally one of the most emotional things to hear, at least for me.

KU is a great place to go to school. If he feels this is his place to be, then leave him to it.
