Is Kenyon really haunted?

Hello everyone!
First of all, I got into Kenyon Regular Decision along with some other schools, but what really sets Kenyon apart from other schools, at least for me, is its vibrancy and being a “school with a personality”. Everyone seems to be so passionate and weird in the best way there and that really makes me feel like it’ll be a great fit for me. However, as I look through videos on youtube and rankings (as well as unofficial rankings) it really got me thinking…
I’m not a person who believes or doesn’t believe in the supernatural, I am, as an agnostic is to God, towards the supernatural. As I read more and more about Kenyon, the more I see references to “The Gates of Hell”, the strange cemeteries and gravestones on campus, many many ghost stories, and the fact that Kenyon even has a ghost tour. The amount of students that apparently encounter ghosts or falling objects or flickering lights is high at Kenyon… or is it? This may be all due to the various amounts of fires that have occurred on campus as well as the campus being old and all, but it is somewhat unsettling for me to go somewhere and wake up “feeling a presence”.
Has anyone at Kenyon experienced something like this first-hand or is most of it just old stories(and making stuff up being in the middle of nowhere in Ohio, not saying Ohio is in the middle of nowhere, saying that the town is. no offense intended)?
Is anyone else worried about this?
Can anyone prove or disprove this?
Are people on campus scared to walk around at night/ walk in certain areas?

What a wonderful, accepting and tactful forum this is!
In most other places, you’d be steamrolled with comments, from harsh to truly vicious!
Congratulations on your acceptance!

I’d pay extra for that.

Don’t all campuses have at least a few ghosts?

Kenyon is vibrant with creative intelligence and energetic youth in a bucolic rural setting. Perfect combination for animated imaginations and storytelling ; )
