As the title says, does Lafayette College follow a need-blind admission practice? I am really interested in Lafayette College but my family EFC is very low (about 1500 USD). So, I would need a significant amount of financial aid including some loans to cover my tuition and other expenses. Is this going to hurt my chances of getting accepted? I have heard from someone that Lafayette directly rejects those who have an EFC below 15000 USD. Is this really the case?
Note that I will be applying as a US permanent resident, not an international.

I’m sure that others can add more, but I believe that Lafayette is “need aware”. Still, there are many students who get merit and need based aid. Very few colleges are need blind.
