Hi, I am considering dropping out of French in order to take Latin. So anyone who’s taken Latin - would you say it’s hard to learn/harder than French?
I thought it may help that I’m greatly interested in Ancient Rome so I would have the motivation to stick with Latin.
I traded Spanish for Latin and I couldn’t be happier! I love it, not only do you learn about the language but in my experience you also get taught a lot about mythology and the culture of Ancient Rome. Your French background will most likely help you, I found a few words in Latin that were very similar to their Spanish counterparts.
