Let me start off by stating my current situation and intentions. Currently I'm recovering from my misspent youth that spilled into my mid 20s, resulting in me finishing my first two years of an accounting program at a community college with a GPA of 3.1 at the age of 26. I will be finishing the remainder of my degree at University of Missouri St. Louis, and plan to knock it out in the next year and a half or sooner. This leads me to a few questions and concerns.... First, is 28 too old to realistically consider a law degree? Second, my first couple semesters of community college are filled with horrible grades that have sandbagged my GPA even with me having a GPA over 3.5 for the last couple of years, Will this be figured into my overall GPA for law school admissions? If law school is an option my choice would be mainly based on the need for proximity, which narrows the options down to Saint Louis University, Is this a realistic option? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

–28 isn’t too old.
–All grades count, but actually your grades don’t sound THAT low.
–Whether anything is realistic depends entirely on an LSAT score.
