I am trying to work in the east coast… I currently go to a school in the west. In particular I want to work in the actuarial field. . Would it be “too shallow” to state that location is the main reason I want to transfer?
Yes, that’s a valid reason, but hopefully there’s something else you like besides just the location. I don’t think a college admissions officer would be happy to read “Well I just like the area your college is in” as if you’re indifferent to which college it is!
