A lot of people have advised me against getting an undergrad degree in marine bio. I understand why it's a bad idea and everyone that I've talked to has very valid points, but is it really that bad of an idea? If I do get an undergrad degree in marine bio would I be dooming my job prospects forever? One of my professors told me that I need a graduate degree so I can conduct research and not just do tech work for the people conducting the research, but honestly I don't have any interest in conducting research. I would be fine with just being a technician or something. Are there any benefits to getting an undergrad degree in Marine Bio? Thanks!

If you like to be a technician then you can just get a undergrad degree
