i'm in math 20c and i have a feeling i won't pass...if i devote my life to it possibly a C. but is math 10c easier? would it be worth it to drop 20c this quarter?

you should ask if you can switch into 10c

i think 10c is easier.

are you a freshman? did you get into 20c because of AP credit or community college credit?

If you took two semesters (a year) of calculus at a community college and transferred it to UCSD as 20A and 20B you can petition to have it transferred to 10A,B,C because you basically got screwed out of 1/3 of a year of credit.

I petitioned and won, even thought assist.org said that the class I took transfers as 20A and 20B so a precedent has been set. You should try that if thats the case.

no i got ap credit. i guess i cant petition o wellz.

you can try, still doesnt hurt,

but you don't learn about vectors in ap calc. how do you petition by the way?

go to Applied Physics and Mathematics building located in Muir by sierra summit and go to the (4th floor) i think it is to the mathematics advising window and pick up a petition form
