I have already taken the Math II and got 800. But after talking to a couple of friends and reading these posts, it seems that an 800 on Math II is comparatively easier than on the Math I. Is taking the Math I worth it?

Absolutely not. The curve is harsher on Math I, but the questions are harder on Math II. Be happy with your 800.

By taking a Math I, you are in turn taking a big risk.
It is completely unnecessary to take this exam if you’ve scored an 800 on the Math II.
Don’t bother.
It won’t help you, but it might hurt you.

Thanks for the replys. Ya Math I does seem more like a hassle.

jacksparrow, did you use any prep book for math IIC, and up to what level math are you prior to taking the exam?

Well I did the math II like a month after my PreCal class ended. So everything was pretty fresh. As for books, I “used” the Kaplan 07-08 edition. I basically just glanced at the reviews at the end.

thnkz jacksparrow.. S completed PreCal and planning on doing SATIIC in May

I scored lower on Math I than on Math II.

Ya, thats exactly what I’m afraid of!

i’m a junior and i finished precalc in my freshman year. which means now i’ve got to go refresh everyhting for the L2 exam in june.
