Simply put, I suck at math. Does it still look good to try and take the IC or IIC? I could expect somewhere in the 500 range or possibly low 600s, judging from my SAT I math score. I got a 560 on that. I would prefer to take different SAT IIs, but someone told me that most colleges like to see the math ones too.

You should check specific colleges that you're interested. I know that most schools (including Ivies) do not REQUIRE a Math SAT II, unless you're going into a math related field such as economics, science, or engineering. Personally, I'd rather not take a Math SAT II either just because I know I will most likely not finish on time.

do the ivy league schools or like duke and stanford PREFER if you have a math though? i was going to take it in may and decided not to, and now i dont really want to take it in june either. i'll have 3 good sat ii's but will they care that i dont have math? I'm not going to MIT or anything, or engineering

Well, I was at a recent college fair with over 150 colleges nationwide. I remember I asked a couple of colleges, prestigious LACs and HYP, and they all said that they had no preference whatsoever. Unless, of course, you plan on going into a math related field.

Definitely not. I'll stick with bio and two history SAT IIs, then. I might take literature or something because my bio score is pretty low.
