are their practice tests accurate? because i am running out of practice tests, and i need more

McCraw-Hill’s practice tests are NOT accurate. They are wayyy easier than the real one.

what do you guys think is most accurate? I’ve already done the Princeton

Red Real ACT book

i’m almost complete with that one..any others? :)

Kaplan and PR

i’m done using kaplan, pr, real act guide. what else can i do? barrons? ACT for dummies?

you could do barron’s.. it is a lot tougher than the real thing, so don’t get frustrated if you get a 25 or 26 and you usually get 31’s and 32’s… barron’s helps make the real test seem easier, and also it has many many pages of strategies, which can be helpful

did it help you improve your score though?

well, i mainly used barron’s between the february 2008 and april 2008 tests, and my score jumped from a 31 to a 34 then.. so yeah barron’s helped

kaplan also helped me get from a 34 in april to a 35 in june… but barron’s definitely helped.. the strategies were really good in there, but the fact that it was so much harder made the real thing seem much easier for me

hey if I get a 31.25 on darn ACT red book. Is there anyway i could get a 33?

THat book is garbage. I have found so many wrong answers in the math section.

^^ ummm.. the red act book is the Real ACT Guide… and it contains actual ACTs from the past.. it’s very accurate, and I’ve taken all the tests in there twice

maybe your replying to the original message about McGraw-Hill.. in that case, then yeah, you’re right.. McGraw-Hill has a lot of mathematical mistakes
