<p>I really like Miami university of Ohio. For what my D wants they seem to have a solid program. However, I keep hearing it tends to be composed of a generally politically conservative student body with most people being Christian and little ethnic diversity. I don't think D would like that atmosphere. I keep telling myself it can't be that bad but I just keep hearing that over and over. So what is up? Who knows anything about this school?</p>

<p>In my personal experience its as you mention. I have a relative there now and her biggest complaint is the lack of diversity and open-mindedness. Lots of preppy kids who grew up decently well-off and not really looking to expand their horizons.</p>
