Is Middlebury "need-blind" for international students?

Who knows?

thanks

From Middlebury's website:

"International students are considered for financial assistance on the same basis as are U.S. residents. We do not take your financial situation into account when considering your application for admission. Financial assistance is based entirely upon established need, and 40 percent of our students receive such assistance."

awesome man thanks

Just keep one thing in mind - Need blind does not mean that you will get a full ride. It only means they will not consider your need in the application process. Two totally different things. IF you need or expect substantial amount of aid, the correct question to ask the Middlebury financial aid office is "How many internationals get full rides? Or aid in X amount?" See the figures I just gave in the thread "Financial aid disappointing" to get an idea of what the typical package is like.

yep I understand, I am not expecting a full ride, I just hope they can cover my entire need if they accept me. thanks for the help
