Just wondering... specifically for part-black, part-Asian (if this matters)?
thanks.

hey everyone, i dont know what u've been told but my guidance counselor was tellin me that the scholars program told her they want to select the scholars by the end of the month. So..... whose nervous? I know I am.

If you indicate that you are both Asian and African American in your college application, one of two things may happen:

1) Assuming a college is just looking to meet their quotas (most/all colleges deny this is what they are doing) they will likely classify you as African American.

2) If the college is instead seeking true diversity, being "mixed" will make you more interesting than being just Asian or just African American.

Either way, your ethnic background can only work to your advantage in the admissions process.
