Is my ACT good enough for Northwestern?

Hi

I'm from the UK looking to go to Northwestern as my highest priority.
My 2 sisters graduated there last year so I hope that helps haha

I got a 33 on my ACT. I'm going to do 3 SAT subject tests.
Based on these scores alone, considering I get above 700 in my subjects, do they give me a good chance into the University or should I take the SAT test?

I keep hearing that Universities such as Northwestern prefer the SAT so I'm unsure what I should do.

Thanks

A 33 is fine. There is no preference for SAT, (and particularly not for Northwestern, which exists in the part of the US where the ACT predominates.)

ACT 33 is within the mid 50 for admission. You want want to check other aspects of your credential as NU is rather competitive that having an ACT within range alone is likely not sufficient.
