Is my ACT score good enough?

<p>Hey guys..
I just did the official practice ACT from the booklet, and this is my score breakdown (with the essay)
Math: 35
Reading: 32
English: 29 (with an essay score of 9)
Science: 32</p>

<p>That gave me a composite score of 32. My question is that what type of universities will I have a good chance for with a composite score of 32?</p>

<p>Plus, I am bound to improve because this is my first exposure to any ACT ever in my life.</p>

<p>32 is pretty good and should be good enough for pretty much all second-tier schools and also some first-tier schools.</p>

<p>Deep a 31 is good for most top-tier colleges. </p>

<p>32 is good for ANY college.</p>

<p>That puts you in the average range for HYPS.</p>

<p>When you say average range for HYPS, please realize that this average range includes "recruits". If anything, the "academics" need a higher than average SAT/ACT score to have a decent chance at admission.</p>
