I’m applying to colleges in Florida, but my test scores won’t arrive to the colleges for apparently 1-2 weeks, as well as however long it takes for the colleges to process them when they receive them (These are my original test scores, so they currently don’t have any others). While my test scores are being sent, or if they are received after November 1st, am I still considered an early applicant? Should I rush the scores? Please help if you can, thanks.
Unless the college says that you need to rush your scores, it’s fine. You need to get your part in on time, but most colleges will give a small grace period for items not under your control.
Agree about some grace. The difference is if a college states a specific date by which they must have official reports. Meanwhile, most will look at what you self report and later compare it with the official.
Thanks. I also called the school and they said it was fine if the scores came later because score reports are due in December, so I will still be considered an early applicant.
