Hi, I'm currently a high school sophomore and I want to get into UC Berkeley. I go to a highly competitive high school that is ranked among the top twenty in California. This year my courses are as follows...

Biology (CP) A
American Sign Language (CP) A
Geometry (CP) A
World History (CP) A
English II (CP) A
Team Sports (CP) C not on GPA, just for PE credit

I want to take these courses next year so I could get accepted to Berkeley.

U.S. History (AP)
Psychology (AP)
Chemistry (H) -considering to not take
American Sign Language II (CP)
English III (AP or H) -not sure which to take
Algebra II (CP)

Are these courses good enough to get into UC Berkeley? If I get straight A's this year and next year with these courses my GPA would be 4.33. Is that good enough?

Even if I don't take honors Chemistry will my course load still be rigorous enough?

Thanks,

*note, my EC's are as follows..
one year of JV football, Peer counsler in training, FBLA, won a contest in public speaking, was a CIT at a camp for a whole summer, I'm planning to do a few courses at UCSB for a whole summer, DJ club, CS hours will be most likely around 200 hours by the time I apply.

So what do you guys think?
