Is my EC good enough?

What is a good EC? For an international student, is my EC good enough or I have work more on it?

Extracurriculars:
International level:-

Went on 3 different exchange programmes to Singapore, Malaysia and Sri Lanka.

Hosted 3 international student from Germany, Belgium and Singapore as a part of YFU and school exchange programme.

Organised MUN in my school for students all over the world.

Went to Jordan for MUN conference.

National level:-
Basketball districts
Swimming districts
Horse riding and Polo districts
Shooting districts

Others:-
Except for that on school level I have been a part of school editorial board, went to different school programmes for debates, games, writing skills, etc.
This list is too big to be typed down.

Volunteering:-
Help age India
Goonj
Make a wish, India
Raksha: protect snakes.

Rigorous activities:
NCC- national cadet corp (basically like scouts)
Adventure camp general head depot 2. This is an official camp which includes hiking, mountain biking, wilderness craft, rope courses, cliff diving, white water rafting, and much more

Bump! Please…

Your ECs are good in my opinion, especially the national level sports. When people ask If they should improve on their list of ECs I think that the best thing they can do is focus on directing their ECs at what their passionate about. So when you’re applying to colleges, try not to just list everything, but instead list the major ECs you partake in that have a lot of meaning to you.

I’d say that don’t put down one time event things like hosting international students etc, because they don’t really show much about your personality and aren’t that interesting as far as ECs are concerned.

But as an interntional student doesn’t it show my overall adaptive personality?

Are the sports played at the national level or at the district level?
Depth>>Breadth. Try to show passion in an EC ( say for eg. MUN)
School Level-debates ,games, etc. not to be mentioned.

But hosting international students isn’t an EC. It is something your family does. Very nice and a good experience for you and the student, but not an EC.

The rest of your EC’s look good.

Oh okay! Thank you so much!
