I’m barely a sophomore with 59 credits with 60 being the limit for a junior and my gpa right now is a 3.28 or a 3.3. I feel like that is awful because I’m a broadcast journalism major. I typically do good but I always get that one awful professor every semester who doesn’t really teach or make convoluted test on purpose so the only 2 students get As while the rest get Cs. How bad is my gpa right now because I feel stupid.
What constitutes a good or bad GPA is pretty relative depending on your post-graduate and career plans - with that said, a 3.3 isn’t a bad GPA objectively - that’s well above the cutoff to retain most merit scholarships, for instance.
@preamble1776 is correct, GPA goodness depends on what your plans are, how it will be used. A GPA of 3.3 is a B+ which is certainly above average. It is not an indicator of “stupid.” Just keep on doing the best that you can.
