Hi, I'm a junior and starting to seriously think about putting together a college list/where I want to go/all that jazz. I hope this is the right place to put this, as it's my first post, though I've been creeping on the boards for the past few months while getting ready for the SATs.

So, a little about me in terms of stats -- 3.96 GPA (school does not weight or rank), 2020 SAT first time March scores (730 CR, 630 M, 660 W and will take again in the fall for hopefully a 2100+), taking AP LA and APUSH this year and AP Gov, AP Lit and AP Spanish next year, white female from Seattle, extremely involved in theatre 9 months a year 9-12th grade, choir 9-12th, International Thespian Society 11th-12th (up for a leadership position/president of my troupe in the fall, will find out if I got it in May), NHS 10th-12th (also maybe leadership), 209 PSAT so probably not NMF but noooo clue. I'm Catholic, go to a Catholic school and do a lot of service at my school and church, probably about 125+ hours by the end of high school, plus tutoring for NHS. I've scored a couple of minor awards (Silver Award National Spanish Exam, History Student of the Month, acting award at my school's One Act Festival), and there's definitely some more stuff that I'm forgetting, but that's the gist.

I'm probably going to apply to schools undeclared, but I'm interested in English, Communications, Theatre, and Psychology majors/probably an English/Communications major and Theatre minor. Location is super important to me, and though I'm open to other places, I would really love to be in California, as my mom and brother will be moving there after I graduate and I don't have a good relationship with my father. My parents are divorced and finances are a huge issue, so I'm definitely going to be needing FA/scholarships/loans.

The schools I'm almost definitely applying to are UChicago (I love their vibe, though I know it would be very hard for me to get in, and they're far away -- I've pretty much ruled out anywhere east of Chicago), UC Berkeley, UC Santa Barbara (I also know my chances are worse at both of these because I'm out of state), Occidental College (new to my list), Santa Clara, University of San Francisco (feeling pretty good about my chances here because I have a wonderful, influential Jesuit priest who knows me very well and will write me a recommendation) and University of Washington (in state). Do I have a decent chance of getting into any of these, or do I need more safeties/sure matches, considering my need for aid? Or if you know some more schools you think I should consider, lay it on me. Thanks so much!
