Hello all! My mom is making me make a bunch of lists for fall 2015 already. I made a list of foods I want but it seems like too much. Also I’ll be on the 14 a week meal plan. My list is as follows:
-chex mix: 3 diff kinds
-granola bars/kind bars (breakfast)
-Gatorade
-ramen
-mac n cheese cups
-pringles (3 kinds)
-Tortilla chips and dip
-clementines
-popcorn
I feel like thats a lot but at the same time I’m going to school in the middle of nowhere basically, so a store isn’t quickly accessible
All of that seems reasonable. I highly recommend the clementines, it’s a great way for college student to get good fruit daily.
I have a comparable shopping list but I am on my school’s 10 meal plan.
Also, is this just a one time go? If so, I would get tons of all of these. If you can restock over the semester, cut down the 3 kinds of pringles/chex, maybe eliminate one all together.
If I may suggest a tasty alternative to ramen: Bob Evans mashed potato single serving cups. Soooo gooood, if you have a freezer in which you can keep it (for me, a fridge/freezer came with my room).
Yeah, get tons then. I’m amazed there isn’t anywhere you could shop on campus. Clementines won’t last so that’s an issue. Grab all of the snack food though.
There are a few grab and go places but they’re crazy over priced so I’m trying to avoid wasting money. And I’ll grab other fruit from the dinning hall from time to time, so good point!
