Is my list too ambitious? Please help!

<p>I doubt any of the others are weighted. Don’t let that get to you. Remember, those are means. Assuming a fairly symmetrical distribution, there are just about as many people with GPAs under that number as there are above. The common data set sites I mentioned will show you the distributions (for schools that report them). For instance, at IUB:</p>

<p>2.00 - 2.49 1%
2.50 - 2.99 5%
3.00 - 3.24 12%
3.25 - 3.49 18%
3.50 - 3.74 22%
3.75 and up 42%
Mean 3.66</p>

<p>Yes, selective colleges look for rigor. A 3.5 in a standard curriculum isn’t the same as a 3.5 in an AP/IB curriculum.</p>
