Additional Info: I've been to three high schools.....

OKAY. Schools:
Reach: Tufts, Northwestern, Emory
Match: Brandeis, UMich, George Washington U, BU, NYU
Safety: IU

I am afraid that a lot of my "match" schools really aren't matches.....but more of reaches....what do you think?

no I think your placement of schools is fairly accurate, I would call those matches for you

alright thank you! anyone else?

I agree your list is pretty good. I would try to retake some of the tests, try your hand at the SAT, and maybe some of the reaches could become high matches. Good luck!

Yes, I would agree that you try to up your ACT and SAT II scores to have better shots at your reaches. Overall, though, a balanced, well-thought out list. Good luck.

You have one safety. You could have much better safeties than that. Branch out a little there, on the off chance that you end up not getting into your matches/reaches.

i'm going to bump this to find out how my chances improve if I apply to Emory Early Decision

first, i think you have a pretty good grasp on what schools are reaches, matches, and safeties for you. i wouldn't change anything on ur list. i have the same number for me in each category but w/ different schools cuz our stats our different.
i don't think emory ED would improve your odds. their ED% is about the same as RD%.chance me too?
