Now that college decisions are over and we're moving onto a new phase of our lives, what becomes of our resumes? I'm sure many of us have some impressive research or accomplishments that we achieved in high school, do all of those disappear from our resumes when we're applying for summer internships and jobs during college?

It depends on how significant the accomplishments are. Consider a potential employer’s reaction to seeing them on your resume – would they say, “That’s pretty cool,” or would they think you are desperate to impress? The same consideration applies to updating a resume for the rest of your life. Once things get to be a few years old, the lesser achievements (unless they’re directly relevant) drop off the list.

Spdf gave good advice.
I’m a sophomore in college and obviously have many more college related activities on my resume. But after the education/internships/research etc… I just have a “high school” section & include a few awards and the really impressive activities.
